Bring your kids back to the prairie days at Clark County Heritage Museum. Take a deeper look at the history of Nevada with its one-of-a-kind exhibit that highlights the state's past from prehistoric to modern eras. Walk through historic pioneer houses adorned with refurbished furniture that will really make your kids feel like they have stepped into a bygone age. If your kids are looking for a little more action, climb aboard the Union steam engine or venture down to the ghost town and mining exhibit. Take your kids hiking along the half-mile nature trail, and see who gets spooked out in the resurrected ghost town!

Sink your teeth into Ethel M Chocolate Factory, a place where every child dreams of going! This factory doubles as a botanical garden, pairing a unique combination of chocolate and cacti. Feel as if you're stepping into Willy Wonka's Chocolate factory as you and your children explore in a free self-guided tour. Encourage your future pastry chef as you watch the sumptuous pools of chocolate being poured into molds and indulge in a free sample at the end of the tour. If your kids are still craving more, swing by the chocolate lounge or ice cream counter for a decadent treat. Sneak a little science into the mix by strolling through the cactus gardens, which feature more than 300 species of cacti and succulents. Cacti and chocolate are a combination you won't soon forget.

Leap into a world of fun at King Putt Entertainment Center. This location is exciting for all ages and will get your child to break a sweat without breaking the bank. Start out the day putting a few rounds of mini golf in the Egyptian themed course glowing with black lights and hieroglyphs. Your kids will love to get in on the laser-tagging fun as well, with a similarly Egyptian-themed arena and a team-oriented game. Hit the arcade for a game of basketball, or give them a break and let them play classic games like ski-ball and Wheel of Fortune.
