Experience the thrill of the world's largest roller coaster at the Six Flags Great Adventure Park. Towering over the area, the Kingda Ka will take your children's thrills to a whole new level. If your family is looking for something calmer, there are also plenty of rides throughout the park for all levels of adrenaline. Jump into the fun at Wild Safari or Hurricane Harbor, two other parts of the park perfect for some family bonding time. Enjoy the whimsical ambiance at The Land of Make Believe, or dive into Storybook Land, catered to fit your little one's size. Special events include Alice in Wonderland Tea Party, Christmas in July, music performances for all ages, and Trick-or-Treating.

Tickle your children's funny bones at The Liberty Science Center, where hands-on exhibits promise to keep the kids entertained as they learn about the world around them. Meander through Camden’s Children’s Garden, a beautiful four-acre sanctuary that offers themed gardening activities for kids of all ages. If your children can't get enough of the great outdoors, take them to The Delaware Water Gap, a park preserved with Mother Nature fans in mind. Trek to the fabled gap found between Mt. Minsi in Pennsylvania and Mt. Tammany in New Jersey, where stunning views offer the perfect setting to practice photography skills. With 24 lighthouses lining the shores of the state and 11 open to the public, your kids will love to race each other to the top. See if you can trek up the tallest lighthouse in the state, Absecon, a historic landmark with 228 steps to scale for a rewarding view.
