Transport your child to faraway places, all in your backyard this summer in New York. Blast off to Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum, witness the exotic life at Bronx Zoo, or dig into the past at the American Museum of Natural History.

Voyage into deep space at the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum. Your kids will be in awe as they explore the aircraft carrier Intrepid, the space shuttle pavilion, the submarine Growler, and the Hubble@25 exhibition. Kids will be submerged in knowledge at the museum’s hangar deck, where they’ll climb a Bell 47 Helicopter or command an airplane. Camp Intrepid allows kids to experience summer on a ship, explore flight and space, and use their engineering skills to create planes or design a vessel. This camp is a must for all aviation and space lovers.

Cultivate your child's innate love foranimalsat the Bronx Zoo. Ride the Asia monorail and witness a red panda chewing on bamboo, or hop on top of a camel for a really wild ride. Kids will love to see the penguins weaving and bobbing for a bite to eat at feeding time. Take part in a family overnight safari where you and your little ones willcampin the company of zebras. Kids can learn how to be a zoo veterinarian in the 3rd to 5th grade program. A 4-D theater experience and carousel ride top this off as a must-see destination.

Unearth gems of the past at the American Museum of Natural History. Your kids will love to check out monsters of ancient history in the dinosaur hall. Cultivate their inner marine scientist as they marvel over the aquatic life murals. Check out the biggest sapphire on Earth in the Hall of Gems or pique their interest in faraway travel with a 4.5 billion year old meteorite. Whether your child is interested in learning more about space or wants to experience an out of this world showing at the IMAX LeFrank Theater, they will be sure to learn and enjoy themselves at the same time.
